How do I know when I need and

If you can't get the police or the
States Attorney to investigate for you at no cost.

police investigation, or in the case of Criminal Defense, when the police are
investigating you.

How much should I pay for an

If you are paying more than $100.00
an hour, you are paying too much.

Are there any guarantees in an
investigation ?
- ANSWER:
The only guarantees in any
investigation should be...
1) That the Investigator knows what he is doing, and will do his/her best.
2) That the Investigator will keep a detailed log of his/her time and activities to
explain all expenses.
3) That your investigation will remain confidential.

Should I have to pay up front for an
investigation ?
- ANSWER:
Yes, almost all Detective Agencies
work with a retainer.
- QUESTION:
What if I'm not satisfied with the
Investigator ?
- ANSWER:
Report him/her to the Licensing
Agency in that State. In most States they will take immediate action.
- QUESTION:
How much should the average
investigation cost ?
- ANSWER:
There is no average, each
investigation is different.
- QUESTION:
How do I know I've hired a
respectable Investigator, from a legitimate agency?
- ANSWER:
The Detective Agency should have a
license displayed or willing to show it upon request. And the Investigator should also
have his/her own License, or registration card on their person at all times, especially
when they are working. The Detective agency should also have proof of insurance, that's
the Law.
- QUESTION:
Can I pay an Investigator with a
credit card over the internet ?
- ANSWER:
Only if they are using encryption
software as a part of the payment process.
